Behind the Scenes - Fascination Airports
Each airport is like a whole different universe - with millions of people working 24/7 to keep the business running. In an airport a tiny mistake can have severe consequences.
Even a tiny mistake can cost a fortune or risk people's lives. With enormous shopping centres and high end boutiques, restaurants and bars, lounges and entertainment areas airports are like self-contained miniature worlds. On average, circa 20,000 people work in airports, many of whom cannot imagine working anywhere else. The three part series, Fascination Airports, is a trip behind the scenes.
