Nine and a Half

100 × 10' (GER) - long running series

Why are there no strawberries in strawberry yoghurt? Who protects us from terror and terrorists? Why do we need manners? These are questions that every child ponders at one point in their lives.

They never get tired of asking questions and this weekly report for children gives them all the answers and explains some of the wide range of various mysteries of the world. The topics range from current affairs, politics and economics to science and society.

We all enter the world as little unmolded blocks of clay. With a young, inquisitive and impressionable mind we make our way through the many phenomena of life. We are shaped by our experiences and what we don’t experience directly we ask others who we think might know. The young mind is always hungry for knowledge. And the persistent questions that children pelt adults with are their approach to appeasing their hunger.
