THE WORLD IN 30 MINUTES
The Last Tigers
Today there are just over 3000 wild tigers, and their survival in the wild is by no means assured. The biggest threat to the tiger is poachers, because a single tiger can go for around 100,000 USD on the black market. Wild tigers require a considerable number of beasts for food and large areas of unspoiled nature. Whoever wants to save the tiger, therefore, will automatically also protect nature and other species of animals.
