It is a paradise, preserved under delicate glass, the most magnificent place ever to make it out of the world of ideas.
A small greenhouse created to mimic a tropical environment, to recreate a surrounding in which fruits and fish native to the tropics can be harvested and bred – a home away from home! The creators are especially proud of their success in breeding papayas and tomatoes, they nurture and care dearly for their plants. They even farm fish indigenous to regions across the oceans. Exotic food - grown in the own backyard - mundane but also sustainable. They have created a modern day Garden of Eden!
This small tropical house, which is akin to Eden, is located in the market of Tettau. It was created with the aim of recreating a tropical environment in which fruits and fish native to the tropics are harvested and bred far away from their homelands.
Ralph and Katrin nurture and care for plants and fish indigenous to regions across the oceans, like the Talipia in Asia, in a pilot project to test the limits of preservation. Schmitt is especially proud of his success in breeding papayas and tomatoes, unfortunate however, is that they can only be sold exactly where they have been harvested. But chefs from near and far will not be thwarted. One special chef has taken on the journey to acquire these rarities, test their quality and see what magic could be made out of them.
