Then out of nowhere comes a massive, slow truck. In this moment, everything changes! Research has showed that for every dead truck driver there are nine fatally injured passengers. Why is this so?

The intimidating size and the restrictive speed of trucks have been the star of many drivers’ nightmare. But these, when coupled with the propensity for human error, are worse than the monster in any closet. To our relief, high-tech trucks are now in transit with filed technology and more than 500 HP. But it’s not just about speed; it is all about driving with the highest precision and energy efficiency! Truck manufacturers are now focusing on the safety features of trucks by creating smarter vehicles that are able to reduce human error. Nowadays new high-tech trucks roam the highways: highly precise drivability, energy efficient and getting safer every day – all over the world technicians and scientist work to make that happen.

Our documentary addresses the safety issues of truck driving and shows the development and construction of a new truck with lots of innovations, including exciting glimpses inside the Swedish design-lab and spectacular crash tests that show how safe modern trucks really are!
