Malos Aires - Corruption in Argentina

Corruption, bribery and fraud are part of everyday life in Argentina. The lack of transparency in government regulations and laws has triggered an increased uncertainty.

The percentage of policemen related to inhabitants is one of the highest in the world but still the population of Buenos Aires doesn't trust their law enforcement. Attempts to end corruption have been numerous. Now the governor of the province, María Eugenia Vidal is trying to deal with this issue which has already lead to him receiving many death threats.
