The oldest boys' choir in the world is, to this day, still seen as something special and the 60 boys in the choir live amazing lives. They lead normal lives except for the fact that their world includes absolute concentration, world trips and performances for the pope.

Matti Bauer's film shows the boys' love of singing, the fascination of music and the striving for the perfect sound. It is a film about a tradition that has given rise to its own rules over the centuries and yet continued to evolve with the times. It is the story of a singular success, which has opened the doors of the world's great concert halls to the Regenburger Domspatzen. There is divine spark in the music of the Domspatzen, and it has often been said that this is what the singing of angels must sound like.
